SOCIAL MEDIA COLLABORATION

Sfile provides collaborative communication functionality based on social media technology. Users can participate in online, interactive discussions through ongoing entries of commentary, descriptions of events, or other material through posting and comment features. Administrators can create posting categories in order to organize postings and discussions. Users can subscribe to postings and discussions through a RSS feed. Widgets such as post calendars and blogrolls can be easily activated by the administrator. Additional third-party and custom widgets can be developed to facilitate custom collaboration functionality.

PRESERVATION

Sfile support multiple preservation solution models. A Preservation Catalog allows organizations to preserve raw collected data. A Preservation Archive allows organizations to preserve data in an indexed, ready to use form. A Proactive Archive provides the automation and processes necessary to cover virtually the entire EDRM model from Information Management to Production.

PROCESSING

Sfile uses a distributed computing architecture that allows multiple servers to work in parallel to extract metadata and content from electronic files, load this information into the database servers and execute indexing. Sile supports hundreds of email and file types including Microsoft Office 2007. De-NISTing of non-user files types and flexible de-duplication rules can eliminate unwanted files from being stored or reviewed.

ANALYSIS & CULLING

Sfile’s analysis and culling features provide a number of flexible filter option including Advanced Search Builder (Proximity searching, fuzzy searching, Boolean arguments), Saved Searches, Shared Searches, Bulk Tagging and Culling to a unique data set.

Sfile supports production in either native, TIFF or PDF file formats and the most popular load file types. Sfile's eProduction capability allows multiple parties to review and produce to each other directly within the system.
